Jimmy White’s 2: Cueball is widely regarded as the best snooker simulation in the history of video games, and features real-life physics to ensure total realism. The project was overseen by ‘The Whirlwind’ himself, who worked closely with programmer Archer Maclean to ensure the game contains every rule, shot style and match variation.

Cueball takes place within a believable snooker hall environment, with players also offered the chance to choose a soothing background track or dabble with one of the other forms of entertainment surrounding the table – including a dart board and a couple of arcade machines! It is the snooker itself that is the star of the show, however, with the game showcasing a number of CPU competitors – each of whom pave the way for a game against Jimmy himself.
